B. Braun Corporate Design Internship

B. Braun Medical Incorporated is an international medical device and pharmaceutical company at which I had the pleasure of having an extended Graphic Design internship from May 2016 to December 2016. Having to comply with strict brand guidelines, I created print collateral for products, trade shows, corporate events, corporate presentations, and local events B. Braun took part in (such as the walk to end breast cancer).

I worked closely with senior designers Bob Buss and Kevin Eitzenberger, marketing directors Connie Walker and Bryan Trimble, and many product managers. Working in a large corporation (especially pharmaceuticals) helped me learn  how to design while adhering to strict rules, some of which set by the FDA and some of which set by the Brand Guides from our mother company in Germany.

This experience not only taught be about design software, but also showed me how to work with strict deadlines, rush projects, and large quantity printing. I am very thankful I got to spend so much time there.
